History of Ownership
We purchased this 1973 Tii from the original owner in 2003, while we lived in San Francisco bay area. The car had been progressively built by H&B in Berkley California between 1978 and 2000. Included with the car are multiple inches of AlpinaWest receipts, spare parts (original
My ownership has been primarily second (or third) car, going to car shows and just driving at local events. Car has had track time at Sears Point, been a Berkley daily driver, a road trip vehicle to Mid--America 2014, and a general Austin Texas sunny day driver.
"1 of 3" Vintage Hardy & Beck stage 3 cars built by the H&B for an independent owner.
I want to make it clear that this is not a Buchloe built car, but rather one built at AlpinaWest (H&B) starting in the late 70's. It is essentially the brother to this car, written up in the 1983 Roundel:

Car comes with extensive paperwork and additional parts (basically what I received when I bought the car, and more):
* All H&B AlpinaWest Receipts (over 2 inches thick)
* Independent valuation performed in 1985 for insurance perspective
* Bay area maps in the back pockets (as was there when I bought it)
* Parts, tools, etc.
Car condition:
* Paint
* Engine
* Transmission
* Brakes, etc.
* Seats
* Carpet
* Door speaker cut outs, 6x9 speaker cut outs
* dashboard cracks
This is not a new car. It's beautiful, but not everything has been remade, on purpose. I chose not to replace the carpet.
It runs great and there are no known issues stopping it from driving across country.
